Memphis Friends of Israel is a pro-active, non-denominational, non-political, non-profit organization whose mission is to educate the Mid-South community about the positive aspects of Israeli society and about the value of American support for Israel.

 

Membership, or FRIENDS, includes synagogues, churches, interfaith groups, as well as major corporate sponsors and thousands of individuals and families.

 

Ever growing is our largest event, the Annual Israel Festival and 5K RUN/WALK, held at Shelby Farms. Each year, more than 7,000 Mid-Southerners enjoy a FREE fun-filled, family friendly day with music, education, children’s activities and arts and crafts. And don’t forget the food. Kosher and Israeli-style foods as well as local fair food – Pronto Pups, Funnel Cakes and Ice Cream treats – tempt any appetite.

 

Memphis Friends of Israel board members are available to speak at your school, community center or place of worship to talk about the importance of American support for Israel and to help you plan your next pro-Israel event.
